He was slinking down the stairs and heard a sproing. It will take a little while for the weld to anneal.

This brings a poem to mind:

Spring has sprung, the grass has riz. I wonder where the flowers is?

Dad came home early hoping that while Tommy was in school the wife could slip into something slinky.

Tommy looks like he’ll rebound just fine.

Better than tumbling down the stairs at school.

Tetris? I thought he’d be playing Q*bert!

I told you he was sprung too tight. Let’s bounce around a few ideas about how to fix this.

I’m glad he didn’t shuffle off this mortal coil.

I’d add another joke to the discussion, but nothing springs to mind.

I’m sure they’ll straighten him out soon enough.

I’m sure he’ll bounce back.

Helix like he’s enjoying it, though. Twisted!
