Hospital in Regina has reproductions hanging in the halls, compete with a little name plate on the frame. Problem was, its a prominent Canadian painter and the signature is quite visible but the plate is wrong. The picture is surrounded by post-it stickers correcting the error my by the art society that supplied the works.
Reminds me of the Taxi episode when they went to the art gallery, Christopher Lloyd played an aging stoner that recognized an abstract painting of a woman. Everyone looked at him like he was crazy — “I know her, she’s changed her hair but I’d know her anywhere.” I’ve often wondered how he sees the world.
