What a clever combo of 2 bizarre artists. If Magritte doesn’t work, there’s probably a 3rd in there. He has all the bases covered! Someone is sure to fall for it because they don’t want to look ignorant.
Something that I’ve never understood is that someone can paint well enough that pros can’t tell the difference between their paintings and Picasso’s without carbon dating or paint compounds. Yet Picasso’s works fetch millions whereas these people can’t get a job painting a bridge!!! Which just goes to show, the importance isn’t in their ability, it’s simply AGE! Old masters my backside!
