It has been shown that men and women have different metabolic rates. More often than not HVAC systems are designed with men in mind and the ladies are faced to make do with unit AC or extra layers depending on the time of year. Use that AC. If you worked for me I would let you be in control of the thermostat. Or buy the unit for your own use and a back up unit as a spare.

Only one little question. Who got the hot air from the condensing part of that portable air conditioner and was he or she happy about being warmer?
