Cats make wonderful friends. As long as you feed them and cuddle them and obey their every demand.
Try a dog instead. We have a friendly little Shih-poo (Shih-Tzu/poodle mix) named Houdini.
Cats have different personalities and one size does not fit all. And I have had cats and did my own thing against the wishes of my cats.
Cats are ALWAYS preferable to people!
