Hey, shouldn’t those seagulls be asleep?!
In panels 2 & 3 it almost looks like the seagull is laying down between Spud & Amelia. Even if he’s not, I love that they’re there.

Why does the default for aliens——and others——seem to be that they’re always dangerous to us? Why isn’t the default something positive? Maybe because we tend to project ourselves on others . .
