    Sheā€™s doing her job and him, heā€™s wasting her time and being paid big bucks for being useless. Survival of the most futile. (Thereā€™s apparently no such word as futilest.)

    I just re-read the ā€œPeter Principleā€ a few months ago Night-Gaunt49, and Iā€™m not so sure about your statement.

    The principle as stated by Dr. Peter is: ā€In a hierarchy every employee tends to rise to his level of incompetence.ā€

    That principle applies both to managers and their subordinates.
