    I have a better idea. Wait till he gets home and teach him how to make those pork chops himself. After that, he’ll eat what ever you make for him.

    I’m with Dan. I figure someone went through enough trouble to perfect that recipe. I have my own recipe folder actually called Tried and True ~~ don’t mess with it. On the other hand, I can’t see that adding a little corn could hurt. Let us know.

    I was born and raised in the plains. Our evening meals were the main meals, always called “supper.” We always had a main dish of meat: steak or ham or pork or chicken, along with mashed potatoes, baked potatoes, or rice. and peas, carrots, cauliflower, corn (either on or off the cob. )
