Ok ok ok enough with the basketball stuff.

Heh, pointless like Nancy and Mildred’s first attempt.

I kinda hope Pee Wee gets his own little arc, just to flesh him out as something other than young and innocent.

Pee Wee is being setup to be the teams ringer – he can follow coaches directions and make a basket.

Pee Wee is a kleptomaniac. They take things literally.

Pee Wee is a lot like Himey from Get Smart.

I’ve no love for the basketball, but I don’t recall it as being “smooth.”

I kinda like it – dedicated coach, unmotivated kids.

YOW. I was finally too curious about the “Popeye Sluggo” in the “Explore Nancy” box (above) and clicked on it. Big mistake! Except for one, maybe two by Olivia and a comparative handful by Ernie, it’s mostly a festering, oleaginous fatberg of nauseous glurge by You Know Who. To add insult to injury, the strips are labeled as being by Olivia Jaimes.

Popeye Sluggo is by Gilchrist, and it’s a bad job even for him. I really thought it might have been by Jerry Scott. He’s winking like a human skin suit being worked by an inept team of space aliens following verbal instructions.

Well, since we have Pee Wee in these new Nancys, I think it’s we other original characters like Rollo in the new strips.

Pee Wee is lit.

He doesn’t take ‘everything’ very literally. When she said ‘“Oh pee wee” he didn’t unzip his zipper and begin to have a wee pee.
