Don’t get me wrong I like these birds, but can you really think of Ow as the antagonist here, he’s a cat, this behavior is his nature. I never really liked how things like these go, like in “Heavenly Puss” where Tom was threatened with eternal damnation for the crime of following his instinct and chasing a mouse. Even as a kid I found that ludicrous, none of the other cats there chased mice?
Great work on the birds Bea, as Anyface would say we’ll add them to the list of things you draw well. Great job on the second panel too, I almost missed the dialogue with the great view you gave us! XD
I guess Ellie was asking for this naming them after the Pac-Man ghost, characters that get eaten! Let’s hope now she doesn’t feed Ow any power pellets.
In high school (late 60s), our class got a ‘tour’ of the school auditorium, complete with a spiral staircase from backstage to the trap pit (under the stage). A bunch of guys ran to get down the stairs first only to be called back and were required to up the stairs first, which gave them a large incentive to grumble & grouch…. 8^)
Watch it, hot ladies & useless cat. Healthy baby birds have healthy protective parents. Nobody messes with the mockingbird parent in our back yard. Cusses us out every time we take out the trash, warning us to never even get close to the nest.

Ellie was thinking Pac-Man, Sadine was thinking The Three Stooges, and OW is thinking with his stomach.

Bonus Points for the Stooges reference. ✨❤️✨

Bea R, if you’re reading this, how do pronounce her name: “See-dine” or “Say-dine”? Or is it “Say-dean”?

Are there any famous 4 person track and field teams. These seem to be swifts, what with a nest stuck to the wall.
