A comic strip for people who have seen or remember the movie “Soylent Green”.

Run, Lio, Run!!!!

But today’s strip is black and white.

The truck is picking up paper and got a Lio strip! He’s trapped! WE MUST RESCUE HIM!!! (who is it that hates ‘too many” exclamation points? I suppose I’ll find out)

One of Charlton Heston’s movies, scares me to this day when I think of the plot.

Love it. Every Christmas my son sends me the video Chiron beta prime.. . They eat soylent green in a pie for Christmas.

pouncingtiger: I’ve technically never seen “Soylent Green” (it’s on my list), but it’s so pervasive in our society I know what it’s about and get the joke….

Soylent Green is GOOD….unless it’s made from Eva Rose then not so much!

I know what Soylent Green is, but what is Soylent Red?

IIRC, Soylent Red is made of soy and lentils, hence the name.

The book was a lot better, and the soylent raw material was only a minor plot point. Look up ‘Make Room! Make Room!, by Harry Harrison, of ‘Stainless Steel Rat’ fame. You have to turn the WayBack knob in your head to the 1960s for it to make sense, though.

Soylent Green is Okay….The taste Varies from Person to Person. rimshot
