    Reproducing whats cats are: junk.

(Note: I don’t really hate cats; I dislike them, but I don’t hate them)

I love panel three, the apprehensive look on Poncho is priceless.

Heck all four panels are. Poncho seeing the cats as towering above him in panel two is hilarious.

Cats…. you can’t have just one.

Fix’d: “Cats… only psychotic cat ladies can’t have just one.”

I like cats, really (I like big cats better though!) but I don’t think I’d ever get one. You really don’t know if you’re going to have a sweet, loving kitty or a snarling ball of claws and fangs for the rest of its life! Granted, a lot of the problems people have with cats are due to (lack of) behavioral training but I swear some of ‘em are just evil. Kittens are so cute though… I figure one day I’ll end up owning one that shows up on the doorstep that I can’t get rid of.

All of my cats, five of them, are rescued cats that were thrown away by what I can only imagine were cruel, unfeeling idiots.

We live out in the country and about a quarter mile from the road and the river that runs next to it. It’s a favorite duping place for unwanted pets.

I can’t tell you how many dogs and cats I have rescued over the years and found homes for. It is tragic.

But my present five kitties, all of whom made it up to my doorstep from where ever they were thrown away, are all their own personalities and great entertainment with lots of love for us and we for them

However, I do wish they would leave their fur balls outside instead of somewhere that I am sure to step on them when I get up in the middle of the night or early morning.

    Not a pleasant feeling!

Brush short haired cats, comb long haired cats, problem solved.

Groom more often in warmer weather.

We have 2 dogs and 4 cats, all ages and all abandoned when we took them in. We live in the mountains so the cats are indoor only. All the cats get along fine with the dogs and vice versa. I wish the older cats got along so well with each other.

Initially, the shih tzu (who’d probably never seen a cat before) used to confront them with his “death stare”. The cats of course would ignore him and he gave it up. The Shepherd mix has started to join in when the cats chase each other. It’s taking awhile for the cats to get used to that.

    It creates a nice balance.

Love cats, but am quite allergic, no matter how much brushing or vacuuming. Laughed out loud at today’s comic!

My dog has started playing with our two kittens when they wrestle. It warms my heart that he is part of their ‘clique’. He was never allowed to join in the play with the older cats. He even shared his bed with one of them a few nights ago…we had a meltdown.

But….one day the hairballs will make their appearance and they are yukky indeed.

My wife had 3 cats when we married and I had my mini pin. We then adopted a Siberian Husky and another cat. All get along great. As my mini pin aged, became blind and deaf, the white Tom guided him around, protected him outside and slept with him on the couch.

Our mini pin died two weeks ago (17 yrs) and all the others went into mourning, our white Tom still searches the house.

Great memories and love shared by all.

ROFLMAO!! This one was GREAT, LOVED IT!

Enjoyed all your stories, I have a few of my own, but for another time. Dogs and cats are all great, love both as pets. And if it’s done right, dogs and cats can be friends for life.

I have never had cats only dogs, but cats seem to want to change that as I am a cat magnet. Cats are drawn to me and want my attention. It never fail, even cats that don’t like strangers like me.

I always wanted to be a chick magnet. sigh
