I once deeply unsettled a friend who quite liked squirrels, but didn’t know their ankles could twist like that, by sharing this information.

They can also be so concerned about a cat in their domain they become blind to others coming along. Practically hypnotized. Takes them a bit to get out of it.

ow I understand why kitty’s can’t get down from trees. They don’t have that ability! Poor kittys!
