Grog It is true, there is way too much salt in PROCESSED foods. Avoid canned vegetables, and frozen dinners. Eat real food, like you find in the perimeter of the store. The Produce, Meat, and Dairy aisle, and use only as much salt, as you like.
But we also need some salt, like when working in the heat. Animals need salt, too. People pt out slt blocks for cattle, deer, etc. Iodized salt helps prevent goiter, no longer a big problem in developed countries but still a problem in some of those poorer countries.
A summer tomato, a cucumber, a spring radish , none of them would be as good to me without salt, never had pink salt, but have become a big fan of sea salt, yes there is a difference.
I agree with Thirdguy, fake food is yuck. If it advertises it’s self as health food then you can guarantee it’s not. A carrot doesn’t need to advertise itself as health food.

Salt is salt. I stay away from it all. There’s already enough salt in our food anyway. Too much for my liking.

Pink salt is actually sodium nitrate in mega doses, so stay away from it.

Like I said yesterday, I can taste the difference between sea salt and regular table salt. I prefer the latter and I am sure I use too much.
