email for more details.
Sad but true that peace usually has to be imposed through violence. (Or at least the threat thereof.) If you want those two to stop fighting, youâd better come armed with a big club!
Third Guy, not Thirdguy, Thirdguy.
And notice that all three are MALES! lol!
Wiley, very funny, but very trueâŠ. and I canât decide if I should laugh or cryâŠ
Several days ago, Calvin & Hobbes showed a cartoon in black and white. Although it was written many years ago, it was reprinted recently, to describe people who see no gray areasâonly black and white. Was this portending todayâs Non Sequitur? Creepy!
Itâs more fun to refuse compromisesâuntil your side loses.
Compromise really is the art of finding the common groundâwhat most of both sides can live with, and ideally some solution neither really had considered that gives them both more than half their demands.
But itâs not always easy. Which is when that cliff edge is temptingâŠ
Compromise means everyone is just a little unhappy and the selfish generation canât stand even a second of unhappiness and wouldnât know how to live without the fear of losing happiness which, conversely, makes them constantly unhappy.
Ask bmonk about JOY however. different story altogether.
Who would say âwait until he hits common gorundâ? These comics are full of violenceâŠpointless violence! Thx! Fer LeferâŠwhats a name like that? LoveUGodBless, T and J KABBALAH MATTHEWSHEPARD MADONNALICIOUS
Thatâs awesome. Common ground that we can agree on. :D
Country has become so polarized by parties, there are so many âmaybeâers tossed off a cliff. I think there is room for the Greenpeace left and creationist right to go off and form their own parties. Not everyone agrees with the extremes.

And the republicans and democrats go marching on!
alviebird about 14 years ago
I find that âmaybeâ just gets ignored, and âyesâ and ânoâ quickly resume their fight.
thirdguy about 14 years ago
At least under the new Health Care Law, getting thrown off of a cliff, wonât be seen as a pre-existing condition!

Not an Art , its a Process⊠and needs some work.

They certainly agreed on one thing: that âMaybeâ weirdo has to go.

And with WikiLeaks we now know:

The 2-party oligarchic cosmetic democracy that fools most, and enslaves us all is still alive and well

And the first marriage was between two men?

FishStix:
And you wonder why normal people donât suck up to you. And then you endlessly whine.
Go back to the perfectly respectful and fulfilling avocation of fishing. Fishermen when fishing are wise and wonderful.
When you start baiting decent people you flee wisdom and wonder.
Justice22 about 14 years ago
Now âYesâ and âNoâ need to jump right after âMaybeâ.

In some cases, two parties only get along if they have a mutual enemy.
Remove the enemy and the two parties go back to feuding.
The trick to getting the two parties to compromise is finding the a mutual enemy which is distant enough that they canât throw it over a cliff.

Of course its possible that the compromise position is wrong and one of âyesâ or ânoâ are correctâŠ
