Too bad you can’t find fireflies anymore, another example of homo sap killing the planet. When I was a kid you could go outside and see hundreds of them, no more.
Driving home one night I hit a bunch of them. It is NOT a good idea to try to use your windshield wipers to clean them off. First had a glowing windshield, then just an opaque smear across the glass. Fortunately, I had some rags in the car and was able to clean things off so I could see again.
