has the fellow been covering the duct tape with paint as the same color as the car’s own paint job?
And WD-40 keeps it moving.
We have one like that – The 343,000 miles, that is, not the duct tape
Yet, most of you will easily remember at 70,000 mi. ya better have money saved for a ring and bearing job!
Duct tape is like the ‘Force’. There is a ‘light’ side and a ‘dark’ side, and it holds the universe together.
gorilla tape is good tooo!!
Duct tape! The eighth wonder of the Modern World.
My 2001 Chevy Malibu is at 345k and going strong. Regular maintenance is what it takes. And I don’t have any duct tape on it. But it has a little rust, though.
I would estimate my ‘91 Chevy truck has about 320,000 miles on her. The odometer hasn’t worked since 149,780 16 or 17 years ago, so I have to guess…
Maybe the duct tape was applied with loving care…
As they say, if you can’t fix it, duct it!
Duct Tape doesn’t hold up to the weather very well. It’s decent, but only temporary.
My car has 225,000 miles on it and duct tape is holding the bumper together. Every couple of years I need to replace the duct tape.
I think it is the hot summer and/or cold winter that kills it.
Doesn’t look like Red Green.
It’s a hoopty at this point
…and prayer. Lots of prayer
That won’t pass inspection.
