I hate those group texts. I try to block them but there are always more numbers added .
The solution is easy, turn off that phone.
You can always catch up on that group text later, take advantage of the quiet time and read that book!
At least Mrs. Drabble is still around, unlike my mom. RIP.

I had a meltdown over a group text once. (If you ever hear bad words coming from my mouth, run, for something very bad is already happening.)
Easy to leave group texts! Just search for “how to get out of group texts“ for iPhone and/or Android instructions.
I’ve never been in a group text. I don’t feel like I am missing anything.
That might be a good time to put it on the charger.
Just don’t turn the darned thing on until you are ready for it!! I don’t text!! I tell them if they can’t talk then don’t bother!!
