    Ladyfingers, I owe you an explaination. I’m the one who questioned Garfield’s gender, as a joke, because he looks like he should be in maternity clothes. I’ve been reading him since 1978 and he’s always been a “he”. If Garfield ever does become a father it will be because he and Arlene have a litter.
