Here now are the 2005 strips that ran after I retired THE NORM in 2004. The 2005 strips, which Monday through Friday, were the product of fans emailing about their distress in Norm’s retirement. My wonderful ex-wife put together a pre-Patreon subscription plan in October 2004 and the strip relaunched at Jantze.com in January 2005. I should have realized the better idea was the crowdfunding site, not the little old strip.If you were one of those lovely people who reached out in 2004, thank you — more for the letters and sentiments than “saving the strip” — it really surprised me. I had cut the cord on “The Norm” back in July as I was that far ahead of publication, so when the emails came in in September, I was taken by surprise. Enjoy!For the completists, if there was a box collection, these are the unpublished “Phone Collection”…maybe one day.
