My problem with “the boy” was that, once I’d grounded and punished him by taking away his whatever, he learned he could live without it, and it was never effective again. He was also much smarter and wilier than I. Yeah, he’s a lawyer now.
When you punish your kids with limitations, , you punish yourself…..but on the other hand, you have to teach them right from wrong…..what to do, what to do………
