Somewhat before my time, (before I became an adult,) but ladies hats (and men’s) used to be a really big deal. Then, along came the Kennedy family. Now hats have been relegated to the fringe – the Kentucky Derby, the Royal Family and those ridiculous ball caps men wear (even while dining.)
you just have to smile at the folks who feel it’s imperative to impart their special knowledge to younguns on the assumption that those gosh darn youngsters just don’t know a durn thing…
