I worked with a man whose mother was disabled. He got bumper stickers made up for violators of handicap parking that read: “I am the kind of guy who illegally parks in handicap spots”. He also used hard to remove stickum.
The cop is doing what he’s supposed to do. He’s pulled in close to the complainant. The guy in the handicapped spot will either get a very expensive ticket or a warning since he hasn’t left his vehicle yet.
Where I live both the original driver and the police officer would get tickets for parking in handicapped spaces. It is a separate department of parking enforcement that monitors and tickets those infractions in my city, and they enforce the rules in all parking lots, including at apartment buildings, stores and any other designated handicap parking zone on public or private property. There was a story in the local paper about a police vehicle or other emergency vehicle ticketed in a handicap spot a couple years ago but I can’t find a link to the story.

Yah. It’ll be me. I tend to not suffer these idiots gladly. I will take off my leg and use it as a club on your lights and windows.

I don’t see what’s funny here. The cop is parked where he can handle things efficiently. I think the strip is pointless.
