âI keep my eyes wide open all the time. Knowing full well, if I slip and try to catch myself, Iâll fry. Just keep youâre paws on one wire at a time, then youâll be fine, to walk to line.â
Whenever you have a power outage that lasts about 5 seconds in duration, say a prayer for a deceased squirrel. 50% of outages are of this type and it means that some furry little bushy tailed rat met his demise by completing a circuit. The power company has it set up to interrupt the electricity long enough for its body to fall free of the wires.
I wrote different lyrics to Johnny Cashâs âFolsom Prison Blues.â I hear the dog a-barkin. Heâs scratching at the door. If I donât let him out soon, heâll XXXX on the floor. But I know I had it coming. I should have let him out. Now I spend all my timeâŠcleaning up my dirty old house. When he was just a puppyâŠ.. Too long to finish typing. Itâs in chapter @@ of my book, Fractured Fairy Tales: Political Monkey Business, released in 2014. Itâs in Chapter 11. Book has 35 chapters / fairy tales. Average length of each is about 1,000 words. Each is accompanied by a one-page cartoon by a good cartoonist youâve probably never heard of, my friend Floyd Johnson. Itâs on Amazon. Iâm working on volume 2.
