GATURRO: There’s currently a best-selling book with that premise (as translated in Templo’s first sentence above – past/future).
JUDGE PARKER: Sam uses an interesting Latin phrase. Here’s a definition from Wikipedia: Deus ex machina is a plot device whereby a seemingly unsolvable problem in a story is suddenly and abruptly resolved by an unexpected and seemingly unlikely occurrence, typically so much as to seem contrived. The term was coined from the conventions of ancient Greek theater, which sometimes used a plot device where actors playing gods were brought on stage using a “machine” (e.g. a crane) to resolve the conflict and conclude the drama. Sam also has an interesting expression…what is he thinking?
MARK TRAIL: Don’t make promises you may not be able to keep, Mark!
Judge Parker All Sam has to do is tell the truth: “I didn’t do anything.”
Phantom Since we already know that Kit came out of this with only 4 bullet wounds (3 of which have already been explained), this lengthy dream recap is getting tedious. Is Kit suffering from PTSD as the Comics Curmudgeon surmises?

I’d like to tell you something: stop being a prisoner of your past and begin being an architect of your future. [Everything very cute. What about for the present?] I don’t have a drawing for that. (Vos debés planear en advanza, Gaturro.)

Phantom – And this is going to go on for how much longer?
One Big Happy (current) – I had to look that one up. I’ve never heard of gooseberries.
