I worked 2nd and sometimes 3rd shift most of my working life. If I had wanted to watch daytime TV, it was rarely, if ever, a problem – especially when I lived a block from work!
Just think, no rush hour traffic, nearly empty stores when I shopped, the laundromat’s best washers and dryers were almost always free…
I hope you enjoyed this period, because 1st shift work is AWFUL. No offense to all you 1st shifters dealing with all that lovely traffic!

Wow, that means you have to get up before 11:00 AM. I bet Drew also remembers that date you had with him. It will be one of his greatest memories.
