Angela phoned today. I haven't spoken to her for ages. We had a lovely little chat... Little chat?! Don't believe a word of it- tittle tattle that's what it was!
@BigChiefDesoto….true, SOME women love to talk on the phone for hours on end. But not all. Not hardly! I hate to be on the phone for longer than 10 minutes or so. I think in most instrances everything I need to say or hear can be covered in that time.
OK, rarely though, and with people I love who happen to be very old and needing the sound of a human voice and the reassurance of their love, yes, I will let them talk themselves out even though by the time it is over my head is resting on my desk and my eyes are glazed.
