Wally, who needs to be a service dog? You’ve got a nice warm home to stay in , plenty of kibble and wet dog food for when you’re hungry, plenty of water for when you’re thirsty, and people with cozy laps and gentle hands to comfort you when you’re sore and tired. What more could a dog ask for?
Service dogs? Probably a good 60% of them just have a sign put on them so their owner can get them into anywhere they go. I was at my podiatrist’s office and there was a guy ahead of me that had a service dog. I’d bet that it was for real because it was at the VA. The doctor came go get him and saw the dog and it was, “Aw, hell no. That’s not coming in my office”. And he was serious. It ended up with him seeing a different doctor. And, I got in a bit early that day.

See, Wally, you have it better than a service dog. Strangers aren’t suppose to pet service dogs.

Always ask permission first before you pet a strange dog.

Nowadays you can be a service pony, chicken, snake, turkey, or turtle. The rules are insane and set up to be abused.
