Adam: Oh, yeah. That feels good. I don't know what it is, but dark socks seem to make my feet sweat more than white ones. Laura: That's ridiculous...and kind of gross. It's the thickness and breathability of the fabric that determines it. Adam: You'd think that was true, but it isn't. Laura: Adam, please...seriously, how can the color of your socks determine foot comfort? Adam: Laura, would you agree that there are some questions science can't explain? Like "how did the moon get there?" and "Why can't you ride a tandem bike from the backseat?" Or the one that's been haunting scientists for years, "Why can't they make a coffee that tastes great, freshens your breath and whitens your teeth?" Laura: Those sock fumes must be hallucinogenic. I'd better open a window.

My ex’s feet used to stink only in winter, dark or white socks notwithstanding, the hallucination effect was that he treated it like snoring, to say ‘no they don’t smell, and they don’t smell bad at all”. One could produce smelling salts with stuff from his socks!

They’re both right. Most of my dark socks are thinner fabrics, so they ted to get a little bit more stale.

Uh, scientists DO have an explanation of the origin of the moon: Shortly after it condensed from the disk of gas and dust around the sun, the infant Earth collided with a Mars-sized object that was also forming. Most of the debris from the collision collected into orbit around Earth and became the Moon we all know and love today.

DonVanni is quite correct about the origin of the moon. (exoticdoc2 has no clue.)
You can’t ride alone on the back seat of a tandem bike because only the front seat can steer.
