Is he freelancing? I thought he was unemployed for now.

Over 40 years ago my wife used to work for a hometown newspaper as an ad lay-out artist. She gave me a phone number for a truck mechanic job before it was published. I called them that evening, went for an interview the next day, and started working the next Monday.

Ooo! Insider trading! And why not? Most people (well. lots of people) get their jobs based on good recommendations, knowing someone on the inside, or being in the right place at the right time.

It takes a lot of skill to lay out an ad that people take for granted. You never want the excitement that comes when mistakes pop up.
