Burton proves, once again, that nothing on Ballard St. is quite on the level.

Yeah, if you buy some tools, maybe you can stick one of them under your chair to make it level.

If you have to think about buying tools at this age, you aren’t going to be able to fix it, no matter how small the problem is. You needed a father or someone who taught you not to be afraid to try to fix things.

It’s amazing how people turn to my boys or myself for the simplest of fixes.

I have the solution… Burton needs to lose some weight, then he wouldn’t keep breaking chairs.

“War and Peace” should level it out nicely.

This is WHY more people need to learn the trades! Mechanics, electricians, nip tucking, plumbers, welders, etc! They’re your “go to” when you’re in trouble …..

I wouldn’t advise it, if you do, you’ll just have to use them…

Never throw away those mini phonebooks that they toss on your doorstep.

As someone who has dealt with damaged chairs on more than on occasion, that break makes no bloody sense. I suspect it was sabotaged by one of the crazies on the street or was in a pulley accident.

I like when stuff breaks, gives me a chance to go to the hardware store no matter if I already have the tool or not…..my wife does the same thing with yarn and sewing stuff….

Burton/Ted likely has termites, in which case a trip to the pest control is in order first. I doubt that chair leg will hold weight again.

My wife once accused me of fixing stuff just so I could buy more tools. I think she was serious, and probably right.
