Monty was having so much fun flying paper planes that his boss told him to go fly a kite.

His technique for distributing internal memos fell a bit short.

Crash and burn, baby.

Monty really thought he knew all the angles…

in fact, his best work went into several original papers.

But the boss said his ideas were just flights of fancy.

that would never fly in that office…

So Monty just quietly folded.

His thoughts took flight, right out the door….

Apparently, dismissal is an air-to-air missile.

It’s so hard to keep up with Susan

The output from Monty? Prodigious.

The thoughts of his boss? Vexatious.

The boss, he says GO!,

and let’s hope Monty will know,

his unfolded resumé? Obvious…

But.. he went on to a better job designing Boeing’s 737 Max airplane.. sadly with the same results as his paper planes but still..

I did my student teaching in a local middle/junior high. My first teachers meeting was an eye opener. The teachers were worse than the students while the principal was talking. Chatting, rolling their eyes, throwing things including paper airplanes at each other, etc. Some of the stupidest adults I ever met were those teachers. It was one of the reasons I decided to go to graduate school.

What’s wrong with that? That’s how the Ministry delivers memos in Harry Potter.
