Monty should cut Buford some slack, after all it is his first day on the job.

You could tell from Buford’s well pressed shirt, with natty pockets and epaulets, that he was new to this gig.

Well of course he brought a tennis racket. This lake is catch and release. Why would a newbie like Buford want to touch one of those slimy fishes anyway?

When the sawmill closed, Buford didn’t have any retirement income…

so he’s going to teach oil painting then.

He got a great deal on 50 identical “Paint by Numbers” sets to use for that,

when he bought all the brand new fishing sets on eBay.

All he has to do for either gig is keep a few days ahead of his students.
