Well Corky, how do you measure the efficiency of an old duffer reading yesterday’s paper?

Well, that’s her story, George, on the other hand, says she’s just being a nosy Parker.

Looks like Francis is in for a rough patch of sailing. He knew the risks when he married Frances. (Their homophonic names is why she adopted the nickname Corky.) She was “a little particular” even then, and he wouldn’t have her any other way..

Anyone remember the novel, “Cheaper by the Dozen”? About about a big family where the dad was an efficiency expert?

Who in their right mind names their offspring Corky?

I hope that’s the base of the lamp i’m seeing!

But is that really the most efficient use of her time?

Where’s her ruler?

Looks like ol’ hubby here will not be up to the mark.

According to her dress, her efficiency is 0.

We run our household like a demented clown factory.

Can’t be measuring efficiency with a pencil. Needs to be a proper measuring tape, although.. if George is her only subject it don’t need to be a very long tape and one of those dollar store ones will do.

I have a family with four psychologists. I always have a sense I’m a subject for some paper on creative weirdos they are writing.

Oh, man, that is not an efficient way of measuring things.

Oh….the crimes against the poor that have been committed in the name of ‘efficiency’.

Corky feels that her husband could put himself to better use dusting the lamp fixtures.
