Oooh a tableside “thingy” Ballard is famous for these. Usually is Mr. Potkus asking us which Ocean is the saltiess, hoping you’ll get it wrong and then he can give his famous Water Lecture. Or Gary Wingerling and his collection of nails. This one’s interactive!

I wish this one were harder than it seems… the eggs, anyway.

I mean, separating the white from the yolk, OR separating the whole egg from Heidi’s possession…

would be a lot easier with hard-boiled eggs.

And actually, though it’s not on her sign, Heidi usually asks for at least a 25-cent “donation”, so while she’s wasting food, she’s also building a little “nest egg.”

The last egg separated was the one hurled by Heidi at the back of Mr. Higgenbottom’s head…

I was trying to think of something funny using the term “Heidi-Hole”, but then thought the better of it… ☺

Heidi’s pop quizzes may be hard because Heidi herself is a bit hard boiled.

Heidi is doing this because her recipe called for egg whites, and she can’t separate the eggs herself.
