Linus, Peppermint Patty and Snoopy sit on a curb. Peppermint Patty says, "They say it's the school dress code, Linus . ."<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty sheds a tear and says, "I can't wear my sandals to school any more . . . I'm really upset . . . Snif!"<BR><BR> Snoopy kisses Peppermint Patty on the cheek.<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty shouts, "And then this weird kid with the big nose keeps kissing me!" Snoopy thinks, "We all need someone to kiss away our tears."<BR><BR>

And(this is off the subject, but anyway), Snoopy would have to go on putting up with being called “the funny-looking kid with the big nose,” by Peppermint Patty, for four more years. PP’s PURE “naiveity,”(or whatever the term would be, to describe a naïve quality)sure as hell did her in, for almost EIGHT WHOLE YEARS—from the time she joined Peanuts, in late August 1966, to mid-March 1974, she had labored under the delusion, that Snoopy was actually a human being, although quite funny-looking, for some reason.
