I actually did this at the Griffeth Park Science Museum in LA. They have a demo unit and the sensor is right next to the recording drum….
They accidentally triggered an evacuation of the entire west coast.
Considering the sensors are remotely located, and that no sensor would be on an upper floor— this looks like an anti-intelligence joke.
Could be worse. They could hold aerobics classes.
