For those old enough to remember Dick and Jane readers, the handyman raked leaves into a pile buried a potatoes, set fire to the leaves and they had roasted baked potatoes. Always thought that was so neat.Couldn’t get away with that today – air pollution, fire hazard, dangerous to have children around, etc.
