Linus lies on his stomach, drawing.<BR><BR> Lucy approaches. Linus is sitting, still drawing. "What in the world are you doing?"<BR><BR> Linus holds up the piece of paper: "I'm making a Mother's Day card."Lucy kneels next to him: "MAKING one?!"<BR><BR> Lucy stands and holds up a card: "Why didn't you just go out and buy one, like I did...see?"<BR><BR> Linus stands. He says, "It looks very nice..may I read the verse?" Lucy stands with her arms folded. She says, "Be my guest.."<BR><BR> Linus reads, "Dear Mother, I bought this card for you with my own money instead of giving you a hand-made one like some chaep kid I know!"<BR><BR> Linus says, "These days you seem to be able to get a card for almost any occasion!" Lucy walks away.<BR><BR>
