Linus and Snoopy sit in a pumkin patch, each behind a pumpkin. Snoopy wears sun glasses and looks up at the sky..<BR><BR> Linus looks at Snoopy and says, "Here we are, Snoopy, sitting in a pumpkin patch waiting for the'Great Pumpkin'"<BR><BR> They are silhouetted in this panel. Linus raises his arms and declares: "Every Halloween night the Great Pumpkin flies throught the air wih his bag of toys."<BR><BR> Linus turns to Snoopy and says, "And just think..if you and I sit here all night, we may get to see him!"<BR><BR> Linus props his arms on the pumpkin and rests his chin in his hands. He says, "I really appreciate your sitting out here with me, Snoopy..."<BR><BR> Linus raises his brows and adds, "I must admit, however, that I'm wondering why you're wearing those dark glasses..."<BR><BR> Snoopy thinks, "There are certain times when you prefer not to be recognized!"<BR><BR>

If the Great Pumpkin is supposed to give toys to all of the children who believe in him, how come Linus has never received any toys? Someone could really mess with him by leaving a toy in the pumpkin patch.
