Is this the first time these folks have encountered one of these eel/snake creatures? I would think they’d be more cautious if they were familiar with them.
And to think… Loki wasn’t worshiped like the other Norse Pantheon gods. And yet “Holy Loki!” is a common phrase in this strip. About time he got some love!
He’s one determined kid. That snake doesn’t stand a chance. You’d think, after getting its tail chopped off, that it would high-tail it out of there. Not a very smart snake.

Considering Loki was the trickster god, who was a prince of liars, strange to call on him unless something related to bad things like the serpents.
Serpents come and go. People still swim in the waters known to have piranha.
