Schroeder plays the piano. Lucy stands next to the piano and says, "I'm sick and tired of the way you ignore me!"<BR><BR> Schroeder says, "What?" Lucy says, "You'd better get away from that piano because I'm going to kick it!"<BR><BR> Schroeder watches Lucy kick the piano.<BR><BR> Lucy walks away and smiles. She says, "Boy, that was satisfying!"<BR><BR>

Apparently Schroder never heard Lucy, at least until sometime in Panel 2, possibly when she says,“I’d get away from that piano if I were you, because I’m going to KICK it!” and sure enough, it happens—she does. She might as well have added, in Panel 4-“Next time, HEED what I tell you!”
