Um…there were NOT two Sunday strips in a row…

That’s just what I was wondering, myself—THIS would have been the Sunday date, in 1969, and Jan 25, a Saturday. The cartoon they have for Sat. Jan 25, 1969, HAS to be the WRONG cartoon, for that date.

In fact, I just remembered-that IS the wrong cartoon, for Jan 25, 1969-I know, because my brother used to have a paperback Peanuts book, containing strips from this general era, and it looks like the one for 1/25/1969 was the one beginning with Schroeder yelling,“HELP! Please, SOMEBODY come to the rescue and save my PIANO!” and ended with Snoopy arriving on the scene. So yes, they actually did make an error.

If you click on the previous day’s strip to enlarge it, you’ll see the correct strip.
