As I always say, I don’t think there ever WAS any baseball player(or any sport athlete, for that matter)with such a name; I have been led to believe that the reason CB never got a chance to meet Joe Shlabotnik in person(or the way CB was never able to find a JS bubble gum card)was because Joe Shlabotnik really IS “fictional”-such a man by that name never did exist.

Of course, there were a couple of times LUCY was able to find a Joe Shlabotnik bubble gum card, but I still say he never did exist, was just a fictional Peanuts character, even.
