Interesting trivia: This strip is featured for this weekend on this years’ Peanuts desk calendar. It’s like this: for several years I have been getting the Peanuts desk calendar for Christmas(as the desk calendar to use for the new year), when I started in 2017 and noticed an interesting pattern-that they seemed to contain the (daily) strips from 50 years ago, according to the current year(the desk calendar from 2017 would have contained the strips from 1967, for example.) They skip the Sunday strips for the obvious reasons; this is why most of the daily strips are slightly off sequence according to the dates from 50 years ago(except in the case of holidays like Christmas, New Years and Halloween, of course); any strips that were published on Christmas, for example, 50 years ago, appear on Christmas Day itself on the current desk calendar. Same with Halloween, New Years, or Fourth of July. Just thought I’d point out this interesting trivia.
