The late comedian George Miller had a funny take on athletes who go on about God before or after an âimportantâ game. Iâm paraphrasing but it went something like: âAthletes always like to credit God for a victory, but just once Iâd like to hear someone invoke God after a loss. Like, âYeah, I would have made that touchdownâŠbut Jesus made me fumble!ââ
