It just so happens that this strip would have been published two days before Ascension Thursday, that year(Easter fell on April 22, in 1973.) I know that pertains to the religious part of the holiday, but still, couldn’t help adding that interesting fact. Because Easter is so movable, it’s always interesting to find out what date it fell on, or will fall on, in a certain year(it depends on when the first full moon on or after March 21 occurs.)
