Charlie Brown sits on front of Lucy's psychiatric booth. He says, "I'm worried about my dad . . ."<BR><BR> Charlie Brown continues, "He doesn't watch tv any more . . . He sits in the kitchen every night, and reads his collection of old big-little books . . ."<BR><BR> Lucy asks, "How does he act? Does he seem happy or sad?" Charlie Brown replies, "I don't know . . . He just laughs a lot . . ."<BR><BR> Lucy holds out her hand and says, "Leave him alone . . . Five cents please!"<BR><BR>

For once Lucy gives some good advice. When men reach middle age it’s best to let them sort their own feelings and problems out unless they ask for help. She could have added “Let him know you love him.”
