Peppermint Patty stands with Marcie and says, "Snoopy's typing my term paper for me . . ."<BR><BR> Marcie says, "Do you really think that will get you a better grade, sir? After all, it's what you say that counts . . ."<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty replies, "Neatness is what counts, Marcie! Teachers always freak out over neatness! You don't understand teachers, Marcie."<BR><BR> Marcie says, "You can say that again, sir!" Peppermint Patty says, "Stop calling me 'Sir'!" Snoopy thinks, "How can I type with all this talking going on?"<BR><BR>

Seems Patty already knew, or was convinced enough, that what she had (originally)said, would be good enough so she would get a passing grade. Don’t forget, Snoopy had changed what she had said just a “smidgen,” thus blowing her chance.
