Charlie Brown sits in an armchair, watching TV.<BR><BR> Snoopy lies on top of his doghouse. It is snowing.<BR><BR> Charlie Brown stares out the window at the snow.<BR><BR> Charlie Brown sticks his had out the front door and calls: "Snoopy! Why don't you come into the house, and I'll feed you here! It's a lot warmer!"<BR><BR> Snoopy sits up and thinks, "How nice...an invitation to dinner..."<BR><BR> Tap tap tap. Charlie Brown turns around to face the door, hearing the noise.<BR><BR> Charlie Brown rolls his eyes as Snoopy enters in a top hat and cloak. He carries a walking stick. Charlie Brown wonders, "Why does he have to make a big deal out of everything?"<BR><BR>

And probably 50 years later, Snoopy still “makes an overly big deal out of everything,” going to ridiculous extremes with his outfits for occasions. Ha, ha. :) It’s Sunday, 12/29/2024, (exactly) 50 years to the day when this strip was published.
